I've been lucky enough to see and handle a lot of vintage cashmere sweaters, but I've never seen one quite like this. I believe it dates to the late 1950s to early 1960s. I love the fact that it's a vee-neck cardigan - and it has tiny pockets! The intarsia (woven patterning) of plantlife (wheat? Grass?) is also special, especially with the three dimensional element.

FABRIC/COLORS: 100% cashmere, in a rich shade of cream, with accents in a light caramel brown. Tag recommends Dry Clean Only. The 3 dimensional part of the trim is soft light brown leather.
